exilic BAZAAR//Raffle//clothing drive
December 2nd, 2:30-4:30pm
As an extension of the Go Campaign, we have organized a bazaar, raffle, and clothing drive for December 2nd to benefit the growing network of fellow churches who have dedicated their ministries to “the least, the last, and the lost”.
100% of the money raised from the bazaar and raffle will go to the food pantry and Help Ministry at Pastor Edwin Colon’s church, Recovery House of Worship-Brooklyn.
The bazaar will actually be a large garage sale where we will be selling items you donate. So if you have anything at home that you no longer use or need, please contribute to our bazaar. We will accept anything as long as they are in good working condition, with no missing parts, and are clean.
In the sign-up form below, please let us know what you would like to contribute to the Bazaar. You will also receive a free raffle ticket for your entire contribution.
When to bring in your donations: Start setting aside the items you’d like to contribute at home. If you need immediate storage, we will reach out with further drop-off points.
Clothing & Shoes: You can also choose to donate your clothing and shoes to either the bazaar or clothing drive. If you feel that it’s an item other people would consider purchasing, please contribute it to the bazaar.
- $50 KangHoDong BaekJeong Gift Cards
- $100-150 Boxed Gift Cards
- tickets to the NY Philharmonic
Raffle Sponsor: If you’d like to sponsor an item to be raffled, please sign-up below.
All the clothing from the clothing drive will go to Pastor Edwin’s Help Ministry. So if there’s anything you no longer wear but is in good, respectable condition, please bring it in with you on December 2nd. There will be a separate area in Studio 1 where you can drop it off. Also, the Help Ministry says they are specifically looking for but not limited to women’s bras and underwear.
Suggested admission price: $10 (includes raffle ticket)
Suggested student price: $8 (includes raffle ticket)
Additional raffle tickets: $2
If you cannot make it on 12/2, but would like to contribute monetarily to this fundraising event, please make a donation via Venmo @exilic with your e-mail address and “bazaar” in the memo.
We need volunteers before the event to help with pre-organization, labeling and pricing items, and being a drop-off spot for donations. On the day of, we will need volunteers to help set-up, clean-up, and man stations.
